Oona’s Orchard

There was a girl in my Elementary School named Oona, and I just thought she was the cutest girl with the cutest name. We didn’t really become friends, I think she was shy and I was shy. She must have moved sometime around middle school. Anyway…I named this pattern collection after her because I just love the name Oona and it starts with an O…as does orchard. Seemed fitting.

In other news…I’m loving Elizabeth Silver’s course - Start Your Surface Pattern Career. I’m really getting a lot out of it. I was nervous about spending that kind of money, only to find it’s just obvious stuff with no clear guidance. Not the case. She definitely gives clear guidance and I feel like I understand the SPD world a little better now. Very pleased with it.
