Let’s Shell-ebrate!

My entry to the latest Spoonflower Crustacean Core Design Challenge!

Here’s how they described the challenge: “Time to be shellfish – you know you want to enter this week’s Crustacean Core Design Challenge! From cutesy crabs to…” and I just stopped reading there and got to work!

Which of course inspired a whole collection…

cute crab fabric collection in a hand-drawn style
surface pattern collection in kid-friendly nautical theme
summer fabrics for baby quilts, beach umbrellas and sun shades, and beach towels

This collection evokes a sense of joy and nostalgia, reminiscent of playful summer days and a carefree lifestyle.

Perfect for various projects such as home decor, clothing, and accessories. This pattern could be particularly appealing for items like picnic blankets, summer dresses, or nursery bedding.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

Learn to illustrate by creating copies of other illustrators' work. Don’t share or post it anywhere. Create a copy every day, and you will improve 10x faster than the beginner who taps their pencil in frustration trying to create something “original” right away.

Illustrator Saturday – Chloe Burgett

SONG OF THE WEEK:

The first time I heard it…I had complaints but now I’m obsessed and I love it!
