I was reminded of this quote by one of my favorite musicians (Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee, Plains, etc) after having that all too common experience of creating something that you love only to receive crickets from the rest of the world. And that’s ok, because I so enjoyed making these motifs using a looser style than I normally do.
