Cardinals - different ways

Still exploring different ways to finalize a sketch. I have been trying to document which technique I use because it’s amazing how I can forget what I did!

started out with some pencil sketches….

tried a couple different things - using some saved live-trace presets and also an embedded bitmap tiff.

I did that with each one of my sketches. Trying to find a way that it is streamlined, enjoyable and produces a good result. The search continues…
