SKETCHBOOK SUNDAY

I found this in my sketchbook from some months back. I probably did this at the end of fall last year and then lost interest in developing it as we headed into Christmas. So I decided to turn it into a pattern today. I was only supposed to spend one hour - I set a timer and everything - and then stop and do some tidying and chores. Well I got in the zone and 4 hours went by!

I’ll share the pattern later in the week. I think a clipart set is in order as well.

a few posts back I mentioned that the tip hadn’t gone through after a dinner out. So yesterday we headed back to the restaurant and had a cocktail in the afternoon. Then went to the museum, then back to the restaurant when our waiter (turns out his name is Ceasar) was there. We explained that we didn’t know why the tip didn’t go through and gave him a cash tip. He was so appreciative and I’m really glad we went.

We also had a great time at the museum. My husband said - if we didn’t owe Ceasar $25 bucks we probably would have just hung around the house like we normally do. So now we are resolved to try and get out and do something at least once a month.
