Minimal Quilt

I’m calling it Box of Rain —

so yeah, I’m back on the spoonflower challenge wagon…even though, get this…I’ve been watching a lot of Youtube lately and recently Mel Armstrong (yes, THE Mel Armstrong) said that it’s so competitive now that even she rarely gets into the top 10. So that made me feel a little better about where I usually end up (somewhere in the top 200). I know, I know…I always say it’s not about winning or money it’s just about trying new things blah blah blah.

So anyhoo…this is my latest entry for the Minimalist Cheater Quilt contest and honestly, now that I look at it, it’s not very minimalist. It’s really quite busy. but I was confused by the directions. But I do really like the way this turned out and I’m reminded that making these types of designs is pretty easy. I set this up using the symbols palette which makes edits so quick and easy.

WORDS

Miracles didn’t happen overnight. But with patience and persistence, miraculous transformations built up within me. Gradually, improvements in my external environment came about, too, reflecting those inner transformations. - Tina Turner
