so I’ve been feeling a little bit down this week about my artwork. So I asked ChatGPT to give me a pep talk and here is what it gave me…

Absolutely! First, take a breath and remember that progress isn’t always visible or immediate—especially in creative work. Every day you show up and pour energy into your vision, you're laying the foundation for something meaningful.

Think of your journey like planting seeds. You water them daily, but growth happens underground at first, invisible yet crucial. Keep watering, keep tending to your creative process, even if you’re not seeing those results right away. This persistence builds the depth and quality that will set your work apart.

And remember: every small task, every new idea or tweak you make, contributes to your overall progress. Even if it’s not obvious today, these actions are adding up. Those efforts will create momentum, and suddenly, when things do start to grow, you’ll see it wasn’t for nothing—it was exactly what was needed for that breakthrough.

So, hang in there!

Honestly, this really was what I needed to hear and it makes me wonder if ChatGPT could be used to help with depression and mental health. Because you can ask a direct question and it gives you an immediate answer - which is pretty awesome. Instead of searching for something uplifting. I don’t know but it sure helped me. I know it’s just poached motivational stuff from around the interweb but still…

WORTH SHARING

Instead of sharing a song this week, I thought I’d share this video I discovered on Youtube in case you are feeling down about making art too. I found it very comforting…
